It's been six weeks since surgery. It has been a struggle but I'm starting to see a glimmer of light. I am struggling with a weak body but a willing mind. Bob took me fishing up to Watson Lake and he took good care of me and let me catch most of the fish. It was enjoyable to get away. I cleaned out the camper so now am ready to go somewhere! I am fatigued and it will take about a year to gain my strength. It can be very discouraging at times. However, am trying to make the most of the time I have and I do like to keep busy. I have been doing alot of reading. Now I am reading " The Kingdom and the Crown" and am on volume two.
I have a monthly Doctor appointment and they will moniter the cancer "markers". I'm afraid that the cancer will come back, but I'm taking my "vet" cure medicine faithfully; so trying to stay optimistic.
Thank you to all of my family and friends for your wonderful support. I loved the surprise birthday party in March. What a great turn out. It certainly helped to know how many friends and family I have. I appreciate your cards, calls and e-mails and the many prayers in my behalf. The PET scan showed the cancer in remission for now so I have been blessed. Thank you. I love you all
