Very Close

Mom has been sleeping since yesterday around 3:00pm or so. She slept peacefully through the night and her respiration's have been uneven starting around 13 breaths a minute last night and this morning as of now 7:30 am she is down to 8 a minute. Her breathing has decreased 1-2 breaths per minute per hour as we have been timing. It won't be long.

I do not know you or your family. I have never met your mother. I happened upon your blog several days ago through someone elses blog. Your story has been so captivating. I feel like I have known your Mom all my life. I lost my own mother 12 years ago and everything you write about is what I went through. You are so blessed to have such an incredible mother, and she is so blessed to have children like you who honor her. My thoughts and prayers are with you through this most difficult time. May you find the peace and comfort that you need through your own faith, prayers, family and friends.

Mel,
I am so sorry to hear about your mom. Stay strong, and give your mom a hug for me. I will say a prayer for your mom and the family.

My prayers are with you. I knew your mom...a long time ago. She sat next to me in Spanish I class at Mac Hi in Milton-Freewater. I remember her as a beautiful girl, full of fun.
